Is it possible to fry a pt 2399 with an audio probe? I'm assuming shorting it to 9v in would do but I'm pretty sure that didn't happen. I was debugging my cavedweller on vero and I got clean repeats at pin 15 then something happened and now all I get is something that sounds like what I imagine robot sex would sound like :icon_eek:

I just want to make sure before I stick another pt in there and fry that one too...

imho, yes, it is stupidly easy to fry a 2399.

I fried 2399 only once, but I wouldn't say it was so easy to do :P
EDIT: btw, my old russian audio probe got broken on it

out of 20 some pt2399's, i've had ONE that works right. most of them DID work right, until they latch up... then they seem gone for good.
