How long does tayda keep your shopping cart until its cleared? I see they have their sale on right now and for the past five weeks I was filling my cart with stuff in anticipation and was happy when I saw it was on...then went to my cart and saw that it was empty....after having over 700 items saved in there....PAIN IN THE ASS!!!

Save in "wishlist"

Then when you want to purchase go to wishlist and press "move all to cart."

Had that happen to me once too...  MC
I used to really be with it!  That is, until they changed what "it" is.  Now, I can't find it.  And, I'm scared!  --  Homer Simpson's dad

yeah I actually did that for the bigger items that I didn't need right away...that I was only going to add if the sale hit....about fifty bucks worth of switches...it was the dozens upon dozens of resistors and caps that were in the cart that vanished...a bummer cus I can easily remember that I need a dozen foot switches...I just can't recall all of the cap values I need so I have to do a days worth of research on what I needed to finish off/start a bunch of projects. I haven't actually ordered for close to a year. Live and learn! Thanks for the advice...hopefully some others read it as well.

You can use the wishlist, or you can go to checkout e.t.c. right up to the paypal stage and then hit cancel. It will go into your order history and you can click reorder when you want to order it.
If at first you don't succeed... use bigger transistors!

I don't trust carts or wishlists too far.

Any large fussy shopping effort, I will *print-out* the shopping cart early and often. Then when the cart gets lost, I can probably just hunt the Stock Numbers (or some short ID) instead of re-tracing all my shopping steps.

Also...

I Keep project BOMs handy and pencil in notations such as:

S = Stock
T = Tayda
SM =Small Bear

How many times has an order arrived and there is something in there that you just can't figure out which project it's for!  :icon_wink:

I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)
