rebote schematic and layout thanks to Tonepad
http://www.tonepad.com/getFile.asp?id=98
the tails mod is centered around the 1uf in the middle of the layout.
pad A of the tails mod goes to where the anode of the 1uf is on the layout
Pad B of the tails mod goes to where the cathode of the 1uf is on the layout.

the tails mod Thanks to madbean

I used a momentary switch on the tails mod so that unless the switch is on you dont get any delays.
It works a treat.
but It wasnt enough for me so i wanted to be able to chose to bypass the tails mod so the delay could be always on or have the option of the tails mod

my additional switching mod.
I used a toggle switch but theres no reason you couldnt use a footswitch.
to switch between the always on and tails mod I used a dpdt switch wired thus

pad A of tails mod board   /   /   pad B tails mod board
layout 1u anode node       /   /   layout 1u Cathode
anode of a 1u cap            /   /   cathode of same 1uf cap

I hope that made sense
