Sabine Tuner problem

Hey all
I've had a Sabine AX800 for like a million years working fine until recently when it was dropped. It still powers up but doesn't seem to pick up a signal. I popped it open and everything seems fine.
What I'm wondering is could the surface mount crystal have been damaged from fall?

what's the heaviest looking part in there? it may have shifted due to its inertia enough to break/shear a lead or worse, crack the board. a big crack is easy (!) to find, but if it's a hairline crack .... does it have an internal 9V? they can do some damage shifting.

Hopefully this gives you an idea of what I'm on about. Not much weight to this to cause any severe damage. I gave it the magnifying glass inspection and the innards look rock solid. That's why I suspect the crystal but how to be certain?

No cuz I'm innerweb insufficient. The tuner is one of those stick it on the body of your instrument, acoustic or electric, type that picks up the vibrations and magically turns them into a read out. It uses those flat circular batteries, 2 of them, and they are very secure in a pocket so not likely the cause of any damage. That's why I'm suspicious of the crystal.

You were on the right line with the [IMG][/IMG] tags and a URL in the middle. But the URL you gave wasn't for a picture, it was for a page of search results. Pick one of the results and use the URL for that. Else get yourself an account in Imgur, Dropbox, Photobucket, ... and give a home for your pictures.
