hey,

i want to disable the volume function in my pwv when the wah is switched off. reason: most often i want the heel wah position when turning the wah on and i don't want to be muted when doing this.

i looked at the schematics on the morley site, but... well.... i'm not into this too much. i can solder and stuff, but....
so if anyone can tell me how this could be done - i would be most grateful !

Based on http://www.morleypedals.com/pwv-iies.pdf, probably the easiest thing to do would be to jumper LDR1 and remove LDR2.  The Morley boards are pretty clearly labeled, but here is a screen shot that I think is the same unit as yours:

LDR1 is directly above LDR2 between L1 and L3.

An SPDT would suffice.  Common lug to the LDR1-LDR2 junction.  Lift the leg of LDR2 that connects to LDR1 and move it to one side of the switch.  Connect the other side of the switch to the other side of LDR1.

cool, sounds like kaeser has a good option that morley should have done in the first place..  8)

I have one of these (older unbuffered version) - why I didn't think about doing this before I don't know - great idea kaeser.  If I change the foot switch to a 3PDT I can even make it true bypass.  (Yet another project goes on the ever-growing never-shrinking list.)

just compare the schematics of the wah, volume wah, and volume wah fuzz from that series, they are all built on the same board.
i added the volume part to a morley wah recently, worked great.

looking for an empty shell so i can built a volume wah fuzz dealio for shitsngiggles. i have a spare wah board. compare the schematics, and it's a cake walk.
they are on the morley site.
