I guess the Metal Zone is my nostalgia pedal.

Playing in my little highschool band. I had my emerald greenburst Carvin DC-127, into a Ibanez Soundtank Phaser, into a Metal Zone into the FX return of a Marshal 8080 amp. Just using the power amp I guess what did I know it worked. Why, because everything into the front sounded horrible.

With an Art rack multi FX for delay.  

I still have the great Carvin and the Art rack that might not work anymore. Modded the Metalzone and sold it. Like $70 or something.

Just bought a Metal Zone and a power suppy for $17.00 from one of those Ebay sellers that are never really sure the product works. Works fine. Love that pedal. Crazy dramatic EQ but I remember my sweet spot.

i have noticed a lot of negativity towards that circuit . everyone has different taste , the digitech df7 does a very good mt2 , plus you get a few other things in there . that pedal is really very versatile  , and yes , i am a fan of the mt2 . every once i n a while i notice art sgx2000 on craigslist , remeber those things ?

mt2 eq preference :
bass 3 oclock
mid freq 2 oclock
mid 10/11
treble 1/2

but again this is on a df7 so i should really shut up. i heard its very close . some claim it is "better" but ... lol . i doubt it .
