Now for the next of my questions,

I have the crazy idea to combine two pedals into one enclosure. I want to put a mosfet boost pedal, and the valvecaster that is on this site together in one enclosure and make the pedal switchable between the two.

My question is how can i power both circuits with one power input? I would theoretically like to run the valve at 12v and the mosfet at 9.

Can i just buy a 12v supply with enough current rating to cover both circuits? or do i need some kind of regulator to bump the one circuit down to 9v?

there is no real reason to not run the mosfet boost at 12V as well, more headroom. unless it gets upset and starts oscillating, but you can fixxe that easy.

Awesome.  That'd proper.  So then again just a 12v power supply with enough current to power both and then some?
