found this while looking for an octave down.  has anyone built it?  If so, is it a keeper?

nope, didn't catch that.. but I want one of those too.  So i'll go ahead and breadboard this one.  but then again, considering how much i know about electronics, perhaps i should only be allowed to build model airplanes... lol

What if you swap the input and output cables?

If one mistakenly assumes that the octave up is the note you are actually playing, then I guess it can sort of sound like an octave divider: "Man, the original sounds pretty crappy, but that octave down tracks really well."
