I've done a lot of searching but can not find a Dan Armstrong Yellow Humper schematic. I understand that it is essentially the Purple Peaker with a few component substitutions for bass guitar use.

Here is the PP schematic:

I believe that the components that need to be tweaked are C1, R1, C2, R5-10 and C4-9. Is that correct? if so what alteration are needed to make it a YH?

well.. theres a layout with the 'right' components. I know its not the easiest thing but you also draw a schematic from this layout

ps. or just build it on vero board.

They're going for $39. I know half the fun is building it, but the other half is using it and this would get you to that half quicker.

Those "Dan Armstrong" boxes are just atrociously built. They're worthless, no matter how cheap they are.
