hi guys..

i have a nux loop core, (looping pedal)

i built an 'optional' control footswitch for it...which works....using momentary dpdts (NC)

1 switch does prog up/down...which is fine as it should.

2 switch should do stop (1 click) tap tempo (tap, tap, tap,) and hold down to clear....so 3 funtions in 1.....

now i just noticed that the stop..was actually clearing....so i swapped the dpdt lug, and now i have

stop (1 click) clear (hold down)  great........but have lost tap tempo?.....taptempo only works when on the other lug, which also clears it !!!!!!!!...

what the hell happened?.......and whats the cure?...hmmmmm...

I used to really be with it!  That is, until they changed what "it" is.  Now, I can't find it.  And, I'm scared!  --  Homer Simpson's dad

Switch bounce trouble? I suppose it has a CPU that works out what you mean it to do by the amount of time a contact operates for. Bouncy-bouncy it go crazy ;)
Try some cap across contacts?
Change switch?

well  its like this...just showing the one switch (half of dpdt that is relevant)..

below is dpdt:

-  <when connected to here ( 1 click = stop / hold = clear)  but no tap tempo

-  <stereo jack (ring)

-  <when connected to here (1 click = clear / click click click = tap tempo.....but no 1 click stop  ???

edit got it... 8)

doesn't really make sense, but now it works...yay!.

i'll knock up a diagram for anyone else that has this weirdness........ ::)

I reckon the top switch "nc" should read "NO" as you've labelled it "no beep when not pressed"  (blimey did you work in reverse Polish notation in your math class!) which translates to " beeps when pressed" i. e.  it's normally open!  so which switch for the nux looper would the NO be? . stop or channel change?  Cheers.
