Imitating a vintage wah pot

Hey everyone

Been noodling around with some mods to a gcb95 i had laying around and came across a claim (supposedly) from Geoffrey teese claiming that you can imitate the sweep, sound, whatever etc... of the vintage wah pots by adding a .1uf cap in parallel with the .22uf cap thats between q1 and q2 sandwiched inbetween 2 resistors.
Does anyone know if this is true or a longtime mod that i've just been in the dark about.  Going to try it when i get home this evening but in the meantime i just wanted to ask and see if any of you guys have heard of this or tried it? If so what was the results

So far ive just been goofing around with the common mods but this one seems intriguing

Current mods are
Input buffer removed
True 3pdt bypass w/led
2n5172 transistors
88k q resistor
.022 sweep cap
Midrange and input gain on trimmers
Red fasel inductor

Sounds pretty nice but im curious about this vintage pot imitation mod

Propably you refer to Twin-T style circuit..

(you can put the blame on R.G. Keen for the bad schematic..)
