Albert Kreuzer JFET pre EQ question

for the EQ- seems to be baxandall with a second '1 knob baxandall' as a mid control...

for his frequency/cap switching scheme... If I made the caps individually switchable, instead of 'dual-ganged', could I use it a sort-of 'Q' switching, as well as the frequency implications?

I do get the idea that  the range of the 'Q' will get outrageous quickly, but will it cause other problems ?

The Q will always be less than 1.

So you will go from "mild" to "too mild".

Breadboard it and listen.

Real world advice: If you plan to mod the EQ, study the various onboard bass preamps and mirror the values/frequencies that work OK enough for you.
