Mark,

I edited the post, I think you can just paste a youtube link in. No need for the BBCodes

Amazing! The alternating octaves effect inspired me to develop my own, which is currently in Tina simulation phase, expect a thread soon about it!

Mine uses a SN74F74 dual D flipflop and a LM339 Quad comparator :)

Hey guys, I am having trouble sourcing the 200kB pot in North America. Any tips?

The usual sources (Digikey, Mouser, Smallbear, ebay) turn up dry. I can find some with different terminals but would rather have uniformm 90-degree PC mount for all the pots.

I may just use 250kB if I really can't get the right value.

Thanks

You could solder a 1 M resistor across lugs 1 and 3 of your 250K and the resistance load would be 200K. The down side is that the effective taper will be changed.

However, if you look at the schematic, the SPDT switch is wired as a SPST, and there is a 27K series resistor, thus your effective resistance with the switch on is 27K - 227K, and is infinite with the switch off. I think you will be fine with a 250K pot in there.
Some people drink from the fountain of knowledge, others just gargle.

Freppo

Yes, a 250K works fine. It's what I used for my complete Arcadiator builds :)

Hi folks,

Just wanna let you know that I have released the Arcadiator 2.0 :)
It has a bunch of great improvements - better sustain, better tracking and mod friendly.

Read more about it at www.parasitstudio.se

Fantastic work as always! Can components in a 1.0 pcb be updated in any way to improve it along the lines of the 2.0?

Thanks! There are some major changes to the 2.0 version, so i'm afraid that it would not be possible.
