My test pedal and Boost pedal both won't produce sound when my stompswitch is on

True bypass works fine but when I stomp the switches down I get no sound. I used two different switches from two different sources on each build. Can you guys help me troubleshoot this issue? I'm feeling pretty demoralized right now. The boost pedal is an EP boost clone. The test pedal was made form the beavis board schematic on beavisaudio.

Thanks

Here's an album of the insides. Black stompswitch is the test pedal, blue is the boost.

Here's the boost schematic:

Seems the problem is in your boost pedal most probably. It also looks like the board is floating, are you sure it's not touching the aluminium enclosure and shorting out? in any case try hooking a tone generator(even a mp3 player or a radio) up to the input and probing around the circuit to see, where the signal is lost. also check with a multimeter or a voltage tester if all the supply leads are connected.

If bypass switching is working and there's no effect, my guess is that there is at least one error in the layout of your board. But since we can't be sure of anything at this point, I suggest that you go back to basics: Disconnect the board from the stomp switch and jacks and remove the board from the enclosure. Print a clean copy of the layout drawing for the board. Verify that every component is in its correct place. Then use the continuity scale of a multimeter to verify that every trace is cut where it should be. With all of this done, make sure that the connections to the pots and switches are correct. Now wire the input and output jacks directly to input and output of the board. Get help with this part if you are unsure of what you are doing; the idea is to be sure that the board works without any signal switching. Connect your amp and a battery and see if you have action. If so, you can wire with the stomper and see if the pedal works; if not, you know you still have some issue with the board.

This is a typical troubleshooting problem with a first build. Patience and systematic working through the drawings will get you to where you want to go.

Also make sure your directional components(diodes, transistors, etc) are hooked up right.

EDIT: by re-looking at the image the transistors look flipped, double check pinouts and reference the schematic.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the replies.

One thing that keeps bothering me though is the fact that my test pedal, with no board in it, is experiencing the exact same issue. Could someone comment on that?
