ok, here we go, the wait is over , introducing the .....drum roll..........

FAZE FILTER

get your popcorn ready...

2 speed controls , fast to slow, and slow to ludicrously sloooooooooooowwww...(which i like for synths so added this option)

and a manual control of the static sweep (no lfo) ..so you can dial in sweet spots in the phaser range..(like a c.ocked wah but phaser)

this manual control goes particularly great with  distortions and boosts the low end nicely..(distortion on vid is spitfire v3)

signal: guitar  , distortion , faze filter, abductor delay...DI into mixer.

with the mix at full and the bias at minimum it goes into proper pitch vibrato too...as a bonus.

and of course classic phaser stuff...enjoy.

pcb's will be available as soon as i update my site ok. i will add a link later...
this small tester batch of pcb's have no silk screen as i f....d up , but with the diagrams above its a breeze to build anyway.....now FAZE OFF..

Looks and sounds very cool.

I like the manual control of the filter, but wasn't expecting the speed control to come into play there. What does the bias control do in that setting?

Oh, and I assume you had to match your FETs fairly closely?

the fets were random 5457's...funnily enough ive always been lucky with phasers and not matching fets...and ive built a few..

the bias will interacte with the manual sweep too, as will the depth, and get very squishy...chewy...nice..

basically its just turning the lfo off...so you can choose

i just didn't go into it on the vid, so you can get a very wide range with it....really cool with distortions.

Nice one, Rob. You just want to swap out those weedy Davies knobs for something befitting the monster sounds coming out. What about the warp factor lever from Mark's video desk?
