Does anyone know of a 'short reverb' project?

All the reverb projects I've found so far are either long and luscious or long and springy, while these often sound gorgeous they seldom work in a busy mix.
Does anyone know of a project dealing more with short reverbs and/or room ambiances? I'd be perfectly happy with one good sound so don't need anything programmable.
The only reference I can think of is the Malekko chicklet, have no idea what IC it uses though:

The Chicklet has 3 PT2399s in it.
The Belton bricks have 3 PT2399s in them.
Perhaps try a short version of a Belton brick without any regeneration?

Thanks, I didn't know the brick contains PT2399:s. I've been looking for a demo of the short version for some time but everyone seems to go with the long...

I built GGG's D-Verb with a medium Belton brick and it's very controllable reverb, not too "luscious."

The short brick has a stated reverb time of 2 seconds which is really the upper limit of a short reverb in my book.
0.6-2s would be a usable range for me but not really longer than that.
I'll read trough the brick threads and see what I find.

My experience with the bricks is that reverb time will depend on the build. With any build you should be able to turn down the reverb level of the pedal and get shorter reverb.

You could always try Inductions All star reverb with a short decay brick.  which If I'm not mistaken is not a lot differnant to the D Verb.
And you can leave out the fedback loop from the all star.
The All star goes from (CCW) no reverb to Flat out lots of verb (CWW)
Anyway heres a thread about it.

Thanks Rich! Is the brick's stated max delay time with the dwell control on min or max?
I did see the newest brick (BTDR-3) has a delay function but I don't know what range it has or what it sounds like.

The Dwell control basically is the reverbed signal fed back into the bricks input from the bricks second output.
So you will be reverbing the reverb
You do not have to include this feature if you so wish. I found it very usable for the sake of the extra pot.

The Damp control is basically tone shaping for the reverbed signal so you can tone shape it and make it more amp like or effect like. If that makes sense.
I would have trouble getting the BTDR3 at a reasonable price after some research.
Talking to my supplier of BTDR2. He said that the extra would not make the price hike worthwhile and he would not be stocking them, partly because it didnt offer enough if a differance and he also stated that he didnt think there would be enough DIY demand to warrent the investment.
I'm happy with mine. I can finally get a very good approximation of a reverb tank without having to mod my beloved Fender PJ.

The BTDR3 is actually a few cents less than the BTDR2 at Banzaieffects- at least right now.
