Egnater Rebel 30 Foot Switch - Change Built In Cable

Hi, new to this, was wondering if someone out there could help.

I have a Egnater Rebel 30 amp, which comes with a foot switch (for Channel & Reverb Selection)

I want to change this pedal. Just fixed one of my EHX Big Muff pedals, and I was all excited to do the next thing. So...

You'll notice the black cable coming out of the pedal is built in. Now what this means is if anything were to go wrong, or that cable fray, I would be done for.

I want to make it to where I can INSTALL this pedal on my guitar pedal train board. and just have a 1/4 jack be where it has the cable coming out now.
At this point its a cable coming out of the pedal to a stereo 1/4" plug that goes on the back of the AMP.

Now I know this is possible because I know someone who already did it. haha

I don't really know where to start, what to buy, and so forth. But I'm eager to do it, I know how to solder, and I'm good with a wrench & screw driver,

Any help would be much appreciated.
