 >:( SO I switched out all the caps on my schematic from GM libs to the MadBean equivalents. Pads on the 'Beans are much more realistic sizes for hand soldering... So while my board should come out much more manageable, my schematic looks like crap. The caps won't line up with the other components. They're either too high or too low or too far left or right, so all my wire lines are bent. I try to move the cap to line up and it won't stay in line. It jumps past where I want it to be. The wires over lap the ends of the component leads, when I can get them to connect. I delete and use the NET command to put the wire back and it either won't connect or it gives me "overlap" error.
   What gives?
I haven't done the resistors yet, but I remember them doing the same thing on an earlier attempt... which is why I didn't use the Beans before... y'know, back before I found out you had to have smurf hands to solder the GMs.

GM layouts' holes were also too small to fit some leads in. I don't know if he intended for the libraries to be used at FAB houses, maybe just some home etching, but a lot of them need to back changed (not a hard task, considering how much work must have gone into making the library).

Your problem sounds like the grid that the components were made in/for is different than the grid you are using. Go to View -> Grid then under size, change that. It starts at 0.1" if you are in inches. I'm guessing the MadBean library is in inches. You might be in mil or mm? I usually keep stuff at 0.1", but 0.05" can be handy for making the schematic a bit smaller but still readable.

Yep, the grid is definitely the issue here. Make sure you're using the Alt key as well to use the 'finer' grid positioning when needed.

EUREKA!!!!!!!!  :D Nailed it! Thanks Guys! (I love this board!)

The library is set of for a 50mil grid with a multiple of 2. Save it as a preset so you just load the grid when you are using the library.

Thanks for that info,  Bean. I just reset my grid and it brought it all together. That's need too know stuff for us noobs.
