Hey guys, so my interest in building pedals comes from not being able to find a product that I want to try. It is the Tym Big Bottom Splitter ( http://tymguitars.com.au/collections/effects/products/tym-big-bottom-v2 ), and they seem to be out of production. While I have found schematics online for building a splitter, I was wondering if anyone here knew how to separate the bass frequencies from the mids and highs?

Thanks for the help!

simplest would be to just run it through two parallel and complementary RC filters, possibly with a buffer.

How about a state variable filter? That leaves you with a lot of options

"Active crossover" (usually for loudspeakers; but you can use one anywhere).

Just this moment stumbled over this--

It will work perfectly fine on 9V, no changes. You may omit the 11V Zener. C2 C3 are 0.1uFd. C4 CF5 may be 5uFd or 10uFd if that is easier.
