TS808 Troubleshoot help

First time poster here, but I built a TS808 clone and added a switch to go between diodes and leds for the clipping. It worked fine for about 10 seconds now I get high pitched screeching sounds when I turn up the volume and gain. I am going to do some trouble shooting of my own but if anyone knows what it might be that would be great! Thanks

Does it screech on both diode settings, or just one position on the switch?

I've got something like that when I wrong the wiring in this pedal.
Try to check some unwanted contact.

the op amps tend to act strange like this if there is bad power, or if there is a problem with the feedback loop. Something could be causing the gain to reach infinity.
