I borrowed a very cheap samick 10 watt bass  amp. I disconected it from its amp and connected it with mine, keeping it in its enclosure and...amazing!!! I finally got such a nice sound from a cheap 6.5" woofer!! I was amazed! It was simply that I was using a hifi speaker that would not even match for a bass guitar.
At what pot volume level? Bass roll-off of that speaker? My guess is that the 6.5'' woofer will not go as low as your hi-fi woofer and thus the improvement in sound.

The TG has a 100n at the input, try this: remove the pre-amp and put a 10n (or smaller) cap at the input in series with the 100n that will filter some bass and test again with your hi-fi woofer.

Cheers.

the bass sounded nice at around 50%, with nice bass tone, not some professional, BUT it sounded like a practice bass amp. I'll give it a try with the capacitor!

hi all!
first I would like to thank you all for your advice, second I would like to ask...
how many times have you guys failed to obtain that level of understanding? It's really amazing to me, how exact  your corrections were.

The heart of my problem was indeed the low power of amp as tca & Rob Strand said first. I couldn't believe it because I had constructed the same tiny giant amp for guitar amp and it sounded really loud!

I had bought a cheap ebay D-class 50W amp and I tried it with the 90db woofer and it played really well.

***Do these amps have any reliability or will they burn after 10 hours of working?!

I managed to swap this woofer with a brand new eminence beta 10A (+ the difference) and exactly as PRR said, it played much louder and smoother (with tiny giant amp) but don't imagine something really great for the money spent. To be honest it played just a bit better than the speaker of a cheap 10watt samick speaker!

I built 1 cu feet speaker box, and I have to admit that I should do all tests with a speaker box first as Rob Strand suggested

After all these months I have been working on this project I decided to finish it up and then take a break and play music for long long time!! I have to give up this soldering addiction the soonest  :)

A bass will require a totally different headroom ability of the whole rig, not just the speaker.

One way to increase the "how loud can I go" impact of a low-power rig is to incorporate a circa 50-60Hz hi-pass filter (yes that high) just before the power-amp and bass-boost it slightly before it. This is easily done if you use an active bass with an onboard EQ. Of course this will eat slightly into the preamp headroom but in 99% of real-life cases that won't be much of a problem.

So there.

I'm glad you are happy with it!

Finishing successful DIY projects is not the way of killing the soldering addiction! It just gets worse and worse ;) Can you ear a bass fuzz calling?
