hello i am a bigginer in building diy pedals i have bougth this diy pedal http://www.diyguitarpedals.com.au/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=31 an i wiring with this http://www.diyguitarpedals.com.au/shop/boms/7_Min_Fuzz.pdf and this   and i have a problem   It make a noise and the singal of the guitar dosen hear . what can i do??

Show us some pictures.
The circuit is very simple, so there's no many things to wrong.

Meanwhile, check the polarity of the diode, electrolytic cap, and check the pinout of the transistor.
It is highly recommended use socket for transistor, almost in any case, in this case you can use it for the diode, and also for the caps, and try different components. But before let's solve the problem.
PS Check the contacts with a multimeter.

i dont kno how to upload fotos :/

dennis - Elijah-Baley covered nearly everything, except "welcome to the forum".

did you follow the "testing your effect" page? what results there? if you change the title of this thread to include "7 minute fuzz" or similar, chromosphere himself will maybe appear to help you.

to post photos, you need to have them hosted somewhere, like imgur (or dropbox, imageshack, botophucket, tinypic, others), then copy the link they supply to your image, and paste it between the tags provided by the button.

duck_arse thank  for the aswer  https://imageshack.com/i/exGikXCKg this is the way that i wiring

duck_arse

can you post some photos of what you built? then we can see if the switch is the right way, or the jack connections are correct, or you've used the wrong colour wire, or .....

did you test without the switch?

Thanks duck_arse, I'm unforgivable. ::)
Welcome dennis3000! ;)

On the board seems to me all correct, diode and transistor orientation is ok (is the MPSA13, it isn't?), and also the pot, just you assure the contacts is ok. Take a look to the other soldering on the board, if you didn't do it yet.
Sorry my insistence, but just confirm us all these checks.

I don't like too much the soldering on the footswitch. I'm not so expert as I want the other believe, but I find very useful test the circuit without the footswitch and led, because this will tell you that the circuit works.
So, cut the wires (that is rather longer than my usually building anyway) and following this drawn:
http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=107081.msg982086#msg982086 (thanks deadastronaut!).

Take a good battery and don't make confusion with input and output jack and their tip, sleeve and ring.
It is a little step back, but could be helpful.

hi i test it before i wiring the footswitch but i had the same problem :/ only the boards and the jacks and dc
yes it is the MPSA13

... could it be a bad pot perhaps? try bypassing the pot with a wire, see what happens. note: just becareful when you do this, there will be a massive jump in volume.

Does the LED work? and also might be an idea to get a 9v power supply so you can eliminate the possibility of drained battery.

Maybe, after this operation, you could check the transistor. Maybe measuring the voltage.
If the problem is on the board there's really no much to check. ;)

i will try that yes i have the power all

duck_arse

dennis, please don't take offence, but practise your soldering to lugs. as EB and the build docs says, test first without the extras (switch, dc socket). rule #1 - if it doesn't work with the minimum, stop. don't add stuff till the basic works. also, don't put it in the box till all is working.

do you have a multimeter for the next steps?

i tryied but the signal of guitar dosent heard a lot . I tested on the power all with MOOER Multi-Plug Power Cable 8 Angle on the 4th plug and i have better sound but the coble of the out jack to amp is heated

This just begs to be painted gold with a .9999 stamped on it!

I hit the wrong posting reply, this was meant for the one below yours. Sorry  :icon_redface:

finally I made .The problem was the current that I had gone to a profetional to connect the dc jack and had put upside down

duck_arse

well, dennis, I think it's all clear to me now, except for this bit:
