Build a Noise Generator into an Existing Pedal

I love noise. I sold off some modular gear because my wife keeps having these ridiculous babies, and they cost money. So I lost my noise generator circuit, but...I'd love to build one into my Fuzz Factory's enclosure. Any ideas on how to do this? Ideally, it'd be activated with the flick of a switch (SPST, I imagine). It'd also be great to be able to blend the noise with the rest of my signal with an added pot.

Does anyone know how to do this? ZVex has teased a pedal that does exactly this (Snow Machine?) at NAMM, but they said they're still thinking about releasing it.

Seems more like you traded one kind of noise generator circuit for another  Bonus, now you have a poop generator circuit too

You need a transistor that will give good noise in Zener mode.

followed by a one-stage amplifier.



The second device can be almost anything, like a 2N3904 or 2N5088, and it does not have to be selected.

Well.. If you're invisible.. how does she know they're yours in the first place? Your DNA is not even visible for evidence.. just go live in someone's house and use his/her modular during work hours.
