True Bypass Looper with Feedback Loop Debug

Hi,
My first DIY stompbox doesn't work and I really don't know why. I verified all the connections and I resoldered everything that I found flimsy. I just can't figure what the problem is.

The LED lights up when I press the switch. There's no sound when I plug my guitar into the input and the output to the amp but strangely, the sound pass through when I connect the amp to the Send input.

I hope you're able to help me. It pisses me off to have work hard on this and be unable to figure what the problem is!

Hmmm...  I can't be sure (can't see clearly enough), but I think you may have connected all the signal lugs together on the jacks, rather than all the grounds.

So you think I may have mistaken the sleeve and the tip lugs of the jacks if I understand correctly?

Correct, that is one problem, at least for three of the four jacks (hard to tell on the fourth).

No sound even send and return jacks connected?
Maybe send/return jacks not connected without fx inserted and spdt switch flipped to NC.

I'm with the bunny on this one, I'd go over the diagram and check carefully which are connected to jack and sleeve on each socket. Looks pretty good for a first attempt! One tip to make it easier is getting a few different coloured reels of wire if you plan to do more. It's lots easier to check what goes where and look for errors if the wires are different colours

I agree.

It seems all of the jacks are connected in the wrong way. A tip to recognise the sleeve tab is that it's the one that you can see  connected to the "hole" where the male jack will come through.

And the tip one is usually opposed to the big "hook" that will connect to the tip of the male jack.

I don't know if I made myself clear... anyway, review your jack connections.

If it's hard to see visually, put a cable in and use your multimeter to see what tab connects to what part of the cable. Touch one end to the tip of the cable (either end) and go between the two tabs lookin for either continuity or no resistance

It works now, I should've pay more attention to the lugs on the jacks, it was a pain in the a** to rewire those. I will definitely buy colored wires for my next project.
