Hi All

I have successfully built a Boss CE-2 Chorus using the Tonepad Layout.  I'm really happy with it but would like to add a stereo daughter board.

Heres the Schem and BOM:

I hate vero but Tagboard have a version of the CE-2 with the stereo daughterboard mod.

So what I'm struggling with is where to connect my A, B and C wires on my PCB board to connect to the Vero daughterboard?  Here's what I think:
A:  Anywhere connected to IC1 Pin 1
B:  At a guess at the R22, R20, C14 Junction (Very unsure on this)
C:  Anywhere IC1 Pin 5.  Again, I'm unsure in this.  If I'm reading everything right, on the Tagboard IC1 Pin5 and IC2 Pin 5 are connected, but I don't see that on the Tonepad Schem.

Any advice would be more than welcome.

Thanks.

you can head back over to tonepad and take a look at the small clone stereo daughter board which should work with the ce2 also.
I did this mod to my rack mount version of the ce2 and was dissapointed. It added nothing going into two differant amps so i made the second output a dry signal. IIRC i tapped it off of the buffer.
have fun

Ma throats as dry as an overcooked kipper.

Thanks Rich for the info but I would still like to give this a whirl.

I'm even more encouraged to try the Vero version if it may be a waste of time.  I prefer to etch than Vero but for such as small circuit I think this is the way to go.

Thanks

A: Yes
B: Yes
C: Yes (better call this point as Vb)

NO!!!!!
IC1 Pin5 is connected to "audio" Vb
while IC2 Pin 5 is connected to "LFO" Vb (R33 R34 node)

"NOT FLAMMABLE" is not a challenge

Thanks Fender 3D for spending your time on that one.  That's excellent.

Regarding the last point about IC1 and IC2 pin 5s, that's one of the reasons I hate vero.  Its hard to read and follow the circuit (IMO).

That worked a treat, thanks again Fender3D.

I'm yet to try both outputs together but I'm getting Chorusing from both.  I'll let you know Kipper4 if I get the same results as you.
