Does anyone have an original MKI Tone Bender or know how the PCB is insulated from the back of the pots? I can tell it sits above the pots but I'm wondering if the pcb floats by the support of the PCB leg connections? Or is there an insulator material between pcb and pots?

Any help appreciated   :icon_cool:

Surely someone around here must know... or maybe not. Sorry, I don't know but you might try over at the DAM Forum http://stompboxes.co.uk/forum/index.php
There are a bunch of people there that live and breath nothing but Tone Bender, try asking "The Captain" himself.
Good luck!

Thanks Ben. I'll try the DAM forum as well. I got a nice wedge style enclosure and all the old parts to build my own MK I, I'd like to try and do it right.

There's some kind of insulating paper between the board and the pots, like in a fuzz face. Not sure what it's called, but someone here should know.

Fish paper.

I don't know if that is the stuff the company uses. But we used sheets of it in much more stressful electrics and electronics. There's fancier-name stuff now; I was somewhat surprised "fishpaper" is still a thing.
