Hey guys, what do you say about a topic in which we can post pictures / descriptions of the new tools that we buy. Here i go first, made some commissioned work (Schematic capture and PCB design) and as a small bonus i've received 2 DMM - VC97 ... excellent tools for the price, nice features and accuracy.

Heres my favorite tool- sometimes it works better than at other times, it always needs sharpening, but I usually don't lose it

where do you plug-in the thermocouple, cozy?

meters come w/ them standard nowdays? as for new tools, well, I found a hacksaw blade with nearly all it's paint on the other day.

Not new any more, but haven't posted it here (I think).

My home built Dremel drill press. Haven't broken a drill since using this. Drilled at least four (I think it's more like eight or ten) boards on it.

Edit: Cozy, that tool works best when you don't take it out of the box, just saying.

The pic of my tool keeps getting blocked by the Admins...  :o
I used to really be with it!  That is, until they changed what "it" is.  Now, I can't find it.  And, I'm scared!  --  Homer Simpson's dad

how rude of me, trying to sidetrack when I can stay on track ......

I do have a new tool, looks like this:

[edit] I still don't know which is fine which is coarse [/edit] so's I can put a good, new sharp on my old tool:

the canadian steel goes good (but the chin steel looks like a row of broken teeth after one dig) so I can convert my fingers and:

into:

with greater haste.
