BYOC Reverb Rev.1

I recently rediscovered my kit for the BYOC Reverb Rev.1 while cleaning. I assembled it per the instructions on the site. It wont power on though. I tried with a wall wart and a 9volt battery. No audio, no LED. Any advice? I tested a few points along the power jack and it read 7 volts. Dont really know where to go from there.
