Little to no volume sweep - Boss FA-1 Clone

Just built this FA-1 clone and used the pot value in the schematic for the volume knob and notice that all of the volume sweep happens in the first 10% of the turn and the rest of the way does nothing. Should I change this out for a linear pot or change the value or something to get a better sweep?

No that should get proggesively louder the more you turn it up.
Check the pot with your meter......

Also verify R5 R6 are the correct values.

If R6 were 47K instead of 470K, not much happens in the top of the volume knob.
