Happy new year Blackie and everyone.
String damper to finish and a dynamic treble booster. They've both been sitting on the bench for a week or two.
Oh and a lm3080 dyna comp which is going well.
Ma throats as dry as an overcooked kipper.

Smoke me a Kipper. I'll be back for breakfast.

Got a few on the go currently.

One knob fuzz, Grant distortion, Meathead, LPB, Ge fuzzface.

It's always the boxing that holds me back, specifically painting, baking, reviewing the finish and sometimes re-doing it again, artwork, labelling etc etc.

I'm not in any rush though![emoji106]🏻[emoji2]

I have to complete: Fuzz Factory, BSIAB II, Little Angel (I wish).

I have to build: Tycobrahe Octafuzz, Fuzz Face, Rebote Delay 2.5.

I'm waiting new components for: Rat, Rub-a-Dub Reverb Deluxe, Zombie Chorus, Snow White Auto Wah, Tremulus Lune, X-Fuzz, and to finish a modded Smokey Amp.

A lot of stuff for me :P

Have fun and happy new year!

HNY all...
Started building my own idea for a drum machine a while back - lots of toggle switches & old school CMOS sequencing. This will take a while to finish... quite a while....

duck_arse

a delay.

I think that covers me for when it doesn't get finished, too.

Excellent! I'm mapping out a metal sound based around a 4049 distortion and a two-band parametric eq. Been toying with a graphic eq and loving the variety that a little bump or two(just about anywhere) can give.

I finished building the Sixty 8 Drive into a 1590A just before midnight, but that wont count for 2016

Bass Overdrive (http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=112744.msg1041653#msg1041653)

A 1590A comp, boost, and overdrive in a 1590BB

Maybe some other voodoo as yet to be determined   8)

You've got to love obsolete technology.....

sajy_ho

Probably Thunderbird, or maybe Noise gate expander...
Life is too short for being regretful about it.

More PT2399 devices (equinox solstice chorus delay etc)
5 channel looper
Coron ds8 clone
Bunch of Quackspikes and a few delux units with loop send/return
Another phaser

2015 was the year my hard-drive crashed (AAAAHHHH SHIIIIIITTTTT) and took with it a nice 1590a layout for a Decimator (and layouts and schematics of a a neat 1590a Prince of Tone, a Crybaby 535q, a 1590a Zendrive and a 1590a Timmy and possibly more I will not think of....).

That is still gnawing at me.

Very much.

What I did re-do after the crash is a 1590a SMD-layout for a cubed clari(not). This one will be ready for adulation in the next week(s). Hah. I am really looking forward to times without celebrations and the solitude and smoke of my trusted Weller.

Just finished the pcb build of a retro-project:  a clone of the PAIA 3750 Programmable Drum Set.

I had one of these when the kit was still available from PAIA ( 1982-ish was about the time I built it ).  It worked and the build got lost in a moving shuffle many, many years ago.
When I got with the current scene with DIY internet friendly forums and DIY guitar pedal sites, I ran across a PDF of the original article in Radio Electronics.  So with my 2015
board-etching skills, I made a board and stuffed it carefully.  And the darn thing works !  :)  Brings back many memories.  Now it's going to be a challenge to
get an enclosure made up.  In 2016, I've resolved to purchase some wood-working tools which will help out a lot.

If anyone's interested in building one of these, I can give you some tips.  It's a messy PCB with 37 jumpers (yikes) and spaghetti traces galore.
But I personally got a great deal of joy recreating an old electronics friend.  ( A colleague named the original "Chip" ).
The sounds are horrible by today's standards, but that's part of the charm.  I recall a review back in the day, " ... the snare sounds like
someone spitting on a piece of tin foil ... "   ;D

I'd like to build anything this year but, with a 6 month old, I doubt that's gonna happen  >:(
Builds: Bazz Fuss, Orange Squeezer, Omega, Green Ringer, Dist+, X-Fuzz

Happy new year!

Yesterday I finally managed to make a working envelope filter (after two miserable attempts on mutron III and mxr ef), seamoon funk machine! Today I'll box it up and start working on yet another filter! :3

Also I'd love to make Tremulus Lune and a proper bass overdrive pedal. Maybe someday!

Pedalhead

Waiting on some 9K1 resistors to build a Barbershop Overdrive.

Gonna have a go at Freppo's Into The Unknown Guitar Synth and attempt to build a ROG Tri-Vibe plus Wylie Moonrock.

Happy New Year.  :icon_biggrin:

I am kind of on a DOD kick here lately. Since I like to draw layouts and feel the need to build damn near everything, I'm in the middle of finishing up several of them that utilize the same layout but with different components. Also, I just started on an Ibanez CM5 layout to help fill the above need I mentioned. That, and I wanted another high gain distortion. lol.

Floor-mat at the front entrance to my former place of employment. Oh... the irony.
