Hi guys!
First of all: "I am sorry for my English on the video, rarely i speak English, only write...."

Some of you is interesting to know some of my puncher. I tried to make a video for show.
When i start to make my own PCBs with phenolic board, i bought a mini drill to make my holes, but not worked to me. Ever cracks and sometimes i cut the trails... [check the video] so i bought this puncher. And work so much better to me.
I made this board with a little and old scratch i found on my bench trash... And i am sorry, my bench is a mess right now, because i am fixing a sewing machine... But tomorrow i back to the pedals. I am sorry for the video quality too, i recorded at night with few light... In a free time.

I think is it... Its all. Let me know any questions or issues.

Pics:
I passed sandpaper on the board after perforate, so, you can see some dust. This one cracked on the left bottom was made with the mini drill (see video).

See, white shadow inside the holes is dust, not cracked, except the top left, this was made with my mini drill.

Hope you enjoy!
That's all, Folks!

Cool tool!

I can see why your drill doesn't work though. It is much too slow and when you press down it slows down and you push through the board. This pushing causes the cracking. Use a fast drill with little pressure.

Of course, is Suetoku. On thread "drilling pcbs" you can find more about.

Nice demonstration, Gio - thank you!  I think the mini drill does not have enough torque..if the drill were spinning faster it would not crack.  Friction causes it to slow down too much.

The punch is faster, and works very well!  Plus, there is no dust, which is bad for you :)

Have you tried the punch on FR-4 boards, or just phenolic? I'm wondering if it would work on fiberglass.

Thanks, Giovanny. It appears to only be available in Brazil. They even have it on the Brazil Walmart website.
