Asked the supplier of the kit, and its normal for the output to decrease. I was listening at extremely low volume as it was late at night also, I sure the volume of this hing is HUGE, as the speaker volume was almost at zero! Thanks though, its all an education!

I recall what I'd read many years ago about SAME voltage rating of parallel caps..

I have never established the actuall reason for this (except perhaps of possible spikes voltage difference..) but I allways follow this rule..
(at least at "heavy" power supplies..)
"I'm getting older while being taught all the time" Solon the Athenian..
"I don't mind  being taught all the time but I do mind a lot getting old" Antonis the Thessalonian..

Supplier is sending me the missing 35V Cap. Even though I said I installed a 16V one. But as changing it wont make any difference (at least to the sound) - (Emm, Am I right here!!), then I might just leave as is.
Cheers all.

Also, its a Harakiri Overlord from Fuzzdog.

Put 100V across a big 50V cap for 20 minutes. BFWOOM! Vets hit the deck. Big cloud of smoke. Bits of cap-tissue all over the inside of the chassis.

In a 9-volt world, 16V caps are "usually" quite safe.

Why?

Other than saying maybe someone will better knowledge can fix what the poster said, well it was confused and basically wrong. Sorry for taking so long to get back here.
