c2888 transistor

Hi guys, I have recently taken apart an old tv, and found 3 c2888 transistors.. I was planning to put them in simple overdrive pedal, but wanted to quickly ask has anyone had any experience using these and if so what did you use them for and how were they?

i couldnt really find anything

take some measurements of its properties, SI, GE, HFE, I Leakage etc  and then it can be categorized for specific build purposes


* wish I knew then what I know now: had some MIJ from some old radios with low HFE ..could of used them in a darlington pair but tossed them because of low hfe and i didnt know what to use them for
