Marc, I think he means that when he builds the new one, he wants to try a different op-amp than whatever is called for in the project documents.  (I haven't looked at the project, so I don't know what's required)

Yes, rutabaga as right :)

Anyone as an idea abou a mod for a fuzz ? I am looking something to boost bass medium or treble with a toggle witch.

Cheers

No one as an idea to add a  treble/mid/bass toggle switch on the fuzz ?

AxisFace is a basic fuzz.

If you want to "add frills", you should perhaps be looking at more elaborate fuzz effects.

a good fuzz is controlled by guitar volume - a no frills quality fuzz is the way to go. all the bells and whistles arent really needed imho

I've just tried my first toogle switch in building and got really excited. It's on a fuzz (Muff Fuzz) to switch between two input caps. On position 1 the signal goes through the stock cap (bassy), and position 2 adds another cap in series (trebbly).
It doesn't boost, only cuts the low end a bit.
I thought that was a good frill that doens't mess with the fuzz characteristics ( i think).
