As I'm sure everyone knows, Fulltone makes a Tycobrahe Octavia clone called the Octafuzz.  The only difference is that they have a switch that can switch between Fuzz and Octave/Fuzz.

Starting with a Tycobrahe circuit, how could I wire it up this way?

Put a switch between the germanium diode and the output.

33uf---------{| | |}--- germanuim diode - output
N.C.----------{| | |}--- grounded
grounded---{| | |}--- germanium diode - switch (SPDT) - output

I don't understand your diagram  Are the lines the switch?  DPDT?

Thanks,

Sorry,

The lines would be the leads for the xfmr and the closest thing attached to it, and where the switch would go.

Oh, I see the switch just breaks the connection from the 2nd diode to output?  why is is SPDT?

Yes, and the switch could be on either side of the diode.  SPDT - output to the center lug, diode to one side nothing on the other.  If there's an easier way to do it, by all means do it the easier way.
