Fender Blender Boost?

I built the Fuzz Dog PCB for the Fender Blender recently. They call it the, "Flender," BTW. Anyway, I actually really like the pedal and the boost is a very cool solo boost that fills out the mids perfectly...but it's just a little too loud. Does anyone know a way to reduce the amount of boost that's brought in when you engage it? 'Cause with a little bit less boost, I might have to say my vows and take this Fuzz to be my lawfully whatever'd dirty-bit.   :icon_lol:

The level control should go all the way down to no sound. No?

schematic here. if its the right one.

Edit
I should have looked closer. Carry on.

Looks like R8 (680r) keeps it from going all the way off, right?
Maybe reduce R8 to something like 100r or just put a jumper wire across it?

But more importantly, where did you get those knobs?  :o
Those are my all time favs and i've never seen them for sale anywhere!!!   8)

Check out Small Bear's aluminum knobs:

Oh man, is that what those are? Dang I've always avoided those because of the price. I like the kind Ibanez used on TS9s, RAT knobs are cool too, but also costly.

RRJ- Nevermind what I said before, I just looked at the schematic again. I guess you are referring to the "Tone Boost" switch and that all looks very complex to me  :P
Perhaps something to do with R24 or R21... I dunno

does this tone-boost simply short across R21 to boost? if so, split R21, and then switch/unswitch only a portion of the 100k. try it first with a 100k pot, find the setting you like best, pull it out and measure the resistances to replace with.

I think with R21 shorted that's un-boosted, the signal is going through the tone control. With R21 not shorted you then get straight fuzz through R24 mixed with the signal from the tone control so i guess that is louder. If that's right then R24 sets how much louder the boost level is so making it bigger will reduce the boost, might change the tone as well though.
