PROBLEM with DIY Fuzz Factory. What's my mistake?

Not to be a pedant, but I take it we've to assume you have got signal at the input? You didn't circle those, but you surely wouldn't get a guitar  signal anywhere else if the issue was at the input.

If you have guitar signal on the far left pin of the volume pot then you should be able to get it at pin 2 by turning up the volume, is that not happening? Did you try playing with the pots at all while you were probing?

check the resistance between the Vol pot wiper lug and ground. turn the vol put up and down, does the resistance at the wiper change?
