On a whim, I picked up a new model with true bypass. I can't get the bypass volume = engaged volume without causing the overload light to light up (more than it should??). Since the level knob affects output volume and trimming for overload, there isn't much I can do here.

If I place the DMM after a distortion box, I have to drop the distortion's output level to some ridiculously low amount to keep the DMM from clipping internally.

I suppose I could go hacking and build an output opamp circuit with a trim pot to boost the output but that seems like an awful lot of PIA for something that costs a couple hundred bucks already. From a venting perspective, my Echobase seems to be running circles around this thing in that regard. :) Any ideas? I see two trimpots of interest but neither seem to affect output level trimming etc.

Here is a video just in case I'm crazy:

This is normal. My overload light is always on. It it doesn't distort and if it is distorting it sounds great!

OK then, that's good enough for me. Thanks Aron!

Hi, can you tell me which big muff circuit is that?
