thank you for taking the time to read and hopefully lend a hand

voltages for the triangle trannies are
q1 E- 36MV
      B-.68
      C-3.78
q2  E-70MV
      B-.637
      C-4.11
Q3  E-43MV
      B-.628
      C-3.82
Q4 E-1
      B-680
      C-3.75

MAYO MKIII

Q1 E-0
      B-51MV
     C 8.17
Q2 E-1
      B-1.5
      C5=-5.18
Q3 E-0
      B-.670
      C-3.78
Q4 E-67MV
     B-.670
     C-4.20 ...   :icon_lol:

i'll post schematics as well

Triangle voltages look okay to me, it was probably a wiring problem? ::)
Anyway nice that you got it up and running, mind posting a pic of your board?

@Belanger: Is the toggle switch for tonestack by-pass..???

It's not the best-looking build by any means    its made from the tagboard effects layout I had to to do parallel resistors for the 390k so the closest I was able to get was 389, I think I can live with that. had to make a few other minor subs because my order of resistors hasn't arrived and I've run out of some of the more common values

there both working now   I changed some values so it didn't sound so bright with the modern transistors   it had a lot of treble when I first tried it

:icon_neutral: ... it looked like q1's voltages were off on the mkiii so i thought r4 was a likely candidate, and in the dangerfield movie 'back to school' theres a scene where his rival, the professor, gives him a ridiculously complicated exam question. rodney inexplicably guesses the correct answer... "four?!?"  :icon_lol:
