Beefy Booster by Fuzz Dog help?

Hi,

I've checked this site many times but first time posting. Sorry if this is the wrong place.
I've built the above pedal but all I get is a high frequency squeal with none of the actually bass coming through. I've been through the circuit three times and can't quite figure it out?
I was advised to come here by someone else so apologies if it's the wrong place.

Welcome to "Hotel California", Peter.  Check out the sticky "DEBUGGING" thread at the top of this board.  Follow the instructions and post what you find.  It really works.  Then we'll sort that booster of yours.
