So Im trying to repaint my Rainbow by Earthquaker.  But unlike my builds, there is more anchoring it in than just the sticky things.  I think perhaps i need to unsolder part of the pot holder things from the board?  or maybe just unsolder the power jack?  i dont use these types of pots or power jacks.  can someone help me with how to get this stuff out of it's shell?  Be specific.  I might not understand all the jargon.

Here's a pic:

- Unscrew all of the In/Out jack nuts.
- Remove all of the pot knobs.
- Unscrew and remove all pot nuts.
- Unscrew and remove the (2) LED bezels
- Unscrew the (2) stomp switches and pull them out from their mounting holes.

At this point you "should" be able to lift out the PCB.

I've dona all that.  Wont come out.  Feels like it's somehow anchored down underneath the pot end of the circuit board.

Try pushing on the jacks from outside the box to see if you get them to clear, then push on the pots from outside. If it was built well, the pots would likely have been mounted to the enclosure prior to soldering to reduce mechanical strain on the solder joints.  You might, as suspected, have to desolder some of the pots to remove the board.

The jacks/power jack in relation to the first row of pots is gonna hold that board in there pretty tight even with the nuts and knobs removed. You are either goona have to get rough with it and pull up from the bottom and bend some of the pots, desolder or loosen up the primary, pitch and secondary pots to get it out. Bottom needs to come up far enough for the pots to drop down past the threads at least to the shafts so you can get the board to slide back enough for the jacks to clear..

Looks like this guy got it but doesn't really talk about getting it out of the enclosure..

Doesn't matter what you did to get it... If it sounds good, then it is good!
