Cool Cat Vibe: Depth, and Wet/Dry Mix?

Hey all,

First post here. Was hoping to get a better handle on some issues with the Dano Cool Cat Vibe. I picked up a Cool Cat Vibe and Chicken Salad in a package deal and came to the same conclusion as everyone else, the Chicken Salad had "it" and the Cool Cat was slightly lacking. So I rehoused the Cool Cat and did the usual mods - volume pot, delay fix, and lightbulb bias adjustment. I also tweaked the LDR's ever so slightly. I shrouded two of them with cut-offs of shrink wrap tubing to create a small lip to block stray sideways light (sort of like the old cells on the original Univibe, http://www.classicamplification.net/sv/MarkS.gif ). This changed the phase shape to something closer to the Chicken Salad. I think I've read every thread out there, and I'm mostly satisfied with my results, but I'm curious if anyone's come across any more mods for the phase depth? Or perhaps optimizing the mix pot since it replaces the usual Chorus/Vibrato switch.

Thanks!
