What is a good etching solution to use??

Paul Perry (Frostwave)

I prefer ammonium persulphate, because you can see through it, and it doesn't attack stainless steel as badly as ferric chloride! But, it has to be warm to work.

Aharon

Wasn't there one made out of peroxide and bleach.I forgot the percentages.
Does anybody remember the ingredients for sure?.

Mike, I can't seem to see where to get it in Canada (but I accidentally found Yet Another How to Use Label Backing Paper Article: http://www.wd5gnr.com/pcb.htm )
Sodium persulphate is just the same, might be easier to find. Allied has
persulpharte in 1 kilo containers.

Mike Nichting

If you have an Active Electronics store nearby you can get your
Ammonium Persulphate there. Maybe not the greatest pricing but
it goes a long way.
