Is it stomp-worthy? Even if it isn't, it is still very cool!
I've used a couple candy tins, and they were a bit weak, thin. On with side of the stomp I put a stack of Legos for support. Not as rugged as a Hammond, but good enough.

I've stomped on it a bit. But yes a good support system under it is probably the best idea. Wood splitting and breaking the enclosure would be devastating considering how long the painting took :'(
