6v6 to el84 socket adapter

i found out that you can "buy" and adapter so you can use a el84 on your 6v6 tube amp
but i wonder has anyone just tried to build one.   and how you did it.

They make them going both ways: 6V6 to 6BQ5 and 6BQ5 to 6V6.

Otherwise, you could make them from standard chassis, either sheet aluminum or cast aluminum enclosures and standard tube plugs and sockets.
