Hello,

I ordered some pcb's via OSH park for an hm2 clone, I will begin the build this evening,
On theses PCB's  the Opamps are not inline so I wandering which non in line opamp will be the closest to the M5218L.

Thanks

The datasheet for the M5218 says that it has virtually the same characteristics as the 4558, so I would just drop in one of those chips and be done.

Best regards, Jack

What Jack said.

And to be honest, it's a distortion pedal.  The forward voltages of all the clipping diodes involved will have far more impact than the chip choice.

Use whatever you have on hand, be it 4558, TL072, etc.

Thanks , IthinkI will start with a JRC4558 for clipping stage and TL 072 for EQ :)

is the hm-2 board on osh park a shared board? If so, what's it called?
I wouldn't mind getting a few.

searh for Swedish chainsaw (standard version with 4 pots)
or Swedish chainsaw cubed (version with 5 pots, separate mids and highs ) ;)

Wondering if anyone has built the swedish chainsaw cubed? Looking for some pics of the internals... and help is appreciated
