Anyone ever build one or know of where I could get a vero layout to build one? I've been wanting a Reamp box for a long time now but they always seem pretty over priced for all they do (£200 - £300).

Probably because the transformer cost is in the parish of 1/3 of product if you where to buy it independently.
I feel sure a mass maker might get better prices for bulk buying.

Ran across this - for about $60 - $70, nothing fancy - but no vero required

Parts listed available from Digikey here in the U.S.

Well, here's a quite interesting guide how to build a Re-amp box without using expensive transformers. It's written in German, but when you chase the link underneath into a translator like Google translate, It's readable for you though  :icon_biggrin:

Why not to use active DI?
A properly floating transformer prevents ground loop noise and reduces the possibility of damage due to potential differences between devices.

I don't have a vero for you, but this is an easy one for you to learn how to design yourself. Check out the TY-250P transformer, which can easily do what we need from a transformer here (isolation is good, frequency response is more than adequate, levels are fine) and is cheap as transformers go. Do you need tone and volume controls on the output?

Would one of these do the trick?

Passive DI (transformed based) with a ground lift. 20$... cannot be cheaper.
The only issue is that the output is XLR only, but I guess it could be easily modified to add jack out.
