Adding passive Blend/Mix pot to Electric Mistress' circuit. How?

Hi guys!

I'm thinking about adding blend or mix pot into Madbean's Current Lover circuit which is clone of Electric Mistress.
It would be great if I could use for that 9mm Alpha pot. Is it possible to add it similarly to how it's done in tonepad's CE-2 blend mod? Just toss a pot in series with resistor? I know there are active blend circuits  but due to not much space in enclousre I would like if possible stick to passive way.

I was thinking about mixing dry signal before it goes to PCB's input. Am I wrong?
