Hi there guys, I'm designing new board for my wah project and I cant measure where mountig holes should go. I have tried a couple of times, but never succeed. It would be great if someone could post board dimesnions and distance between mounting holes and center of the board

Well that kind of depends on the enclosure doesn't it ;)

I would assume you are referring to a Dunlop Wah enclosure because of the ubiquity of the CryBaby, but you could just as easily be talking about a VOX. Clarification?

Even in the same Dunlop enclosure, there are different ways to mount the board.  The old ones had the board down toward the heel, with the two mounting screws.  Later they started board-mounting the jacks, and moved the board up toward the pot.  If you have a battery box bottom plate, you can't mount the board the old way.

Then there's the flat spring tension adjustment situation.  Some boards have a hole for the screw to poke through, some don't.

I have a dunlop wah enclosure and want to mount pcb the old way

Lay a piece of paper over the mounting holes, hold it in place and rub the side of a pencil over the mounting to holes to transfer them to the paper.

^ I did about the same thing, but poked holes through the paper at the mounting holes.

If you're trying to make sure it fits the paper + pencil (or poking holes) is a great way to go. If you're using a CAD program (Eagle, DipTrace, Altium, etc) and trying to get the location exact for a board layout, I would definitely recommend getting a set of calipers. I think I paid $25 for mine (with a digital display) and they were a VERY worthwhile investment.
