So i made this build for vero http://www.sabrotone.com/?attachment_id=1403
I put everything on the veroboard and i tested it first without volume tone and drive pots.I had sound but zero distortion. Then i tested it with drive and volume pots and i had some minimal distortion wich was really low.I guess the fact that i have sound its good but its nothing like a screamer. What should i do? If it worked well i would have had distortion even without the pots right ?

Post some pics!
Maybe there's some shortcut around there.
Which diodes do you use? Gain pot?
To you, buffered bypass sucks tone.
To me, it sucks my balls.

Drive pot is 500k log and diodes 1N914
Here are some pics

Check for solder bridges.  From the photo it looks like there might be one or two.  What I do is run the hot soldering iron between each copper track.  Some solder bridges are minute.
Also check that all track cuts are done.  The cut under R13 could be easily missed.
I would put all the pots in the circuit.

Thanks guess i ll check all the soldering again.

Change the capacitor C8. It is supposed to be a 1uF (same as C2).
You have a 100n installed instead of a 1uF.
Change it and see what happens.

R1 & R3 seem to be in the wrong place and I can't make out what's going on in the R5 area
